The health fairs were by far my favorite part of the whole trip. The fast paced environment gave me a plethora of opportunities to hone my nursing skills.  Moreover, I love the concept of service as a mode of education. Learning through service has taught me to improve my psychomotor skills while also bolstering my patient interaction skills.

I would argue that the most beneficial way this trip has impacted my nursing skills is through improving my health related conversational skills. Grenada gave me the opportunity to connect with a vast amount of people coming from a variety of backgrounds different than my own. This is a prime example of immense growth that happens when you step outside your comfort zone.
